John T. Peters, CTC
John T. Peters, CTC, began his career at the age of 15, importing exotic tropical fish from Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika in Africa for sale to pet stores in the USA.
He joined the family business in New York as Manager of Zeus Tours, in the early 1980's while attending Fairleigh Dickinson University at night as a Business Management major.
During his career, Mr. Peters' innovative ideas and aggressive marketing plans contributed largely to the growth of the company. Over the years, he held various positions with the Zeus Group of Companies including Sales Manager, General Manager, Executive Vice President and, finally, President. In July of 1999, Mr. Peters sold the family business to FAR&WIDE Travel Corporation.
Following the sale of Zeus to FAR&WIDE, Mr. Peters became the only former owner to join the corporate team as VP of National Accounts, handling all sales and marketing for all the FAR&WIDE companies to the travel trade. Mr. Peters was then promoted to VP Field Sales & Marketing, representing all FAR&WIDE companies across all distribution channels.
Mr. Peters has traveled extensively through out the Americas, Western and Eastern Europe and Asia. He is a frequent speaker at trade shows and international meetings on various subjects including such popular topics as "Small Ship Cruising," "Technology and Tourism Marketing," "Selling Exotic Travel," and "The Real North American Traveler." He has also made guest appearances on many radio and television programs, discussing the pleasures of international travel and has been featured in such publications as USA Today, Internet Weekly, Argentina's largest newspaper; La Nacion, and nearly all of the travel trade publications including cover stories.
Mr. Peters was named as one of the Travel Industry's 100 Rising Stars for three consecutive years by Travel Agent Magazine and has also held executive positions at A.H.T.O.A. (the American Hellenic Tour Operators Association) formed to create and uphold a positive press image for Greece and Greek Tourism from North America.
In 1998, Mr. Peters earned his CTC from ICTA, the Institute of Certified Travel Agents. He is also an accomplished artist in drawing and painting with an international base of clients. He and his wife Kristin, live in New Jersey.
Bradley Mohr has been offering IT and Internet consulting for over 11 years, specializing in internet application development, web site design, information architecture and database modeling.
Having worked with international tour operators, travel agents plus a host of Fortune 500 companies, his unique experience continues to improve efficiency and results for his clients. His experience includes work for such companies as AT&T, Delta Airlines, Citibank, TV Guide, Zeus Tours, Pacific Bestour, Regina Tours, WorldWaterways, Expedition8 Adventure Travel and others.
His most involved projects include developing an online and interactive CD and online revenue reporting applications for TV Guide, "Partner Grid" initiatives with FOX Networks and Sports Illustrated's SI.COM and a complete ecommerce solution (with all CMS and CRM and integration with an online proprietary reservation system) for Group IST's four tour wholesaler brands.
Brad has been featured in such publications as "Internet Weekly" as an internet pioneer in the technology sector in the tourism field.
Brad studied at William Patterson University, is an accomplished musician and photographer and also has his Private Pilot's license. He and his wife Maribel, live in New Jersey.
